Messy Church

Values – All-age, Jesus Centred, Worship, Hospitality, Creativity

For anyone new to ‘Messy Church’ it is a different way of doing Church, with several activities on a Biblical theme, followed by a 15 minute Worship time including singing, a story and prayers, followed by tea. Sessions are free, with a donation basket and children must be accompanied by an adult.

St John’s has had Messy Church since 2012 and it has been widely appreciated by many children and adults. We look forward to meeting old friends and making new ones. See you there!

In the meantime there are some Messy Church at Home ideas at www.messychurch.org.uk/resources/messy-church-home-ideas

If your family has any prayer requests, please contact the pastoral team via the contact form. The email goes initially to the Rector.

Looking forward to seeing you all soon.

Great to see you at Ecofest. There is a break over the summer. In the autumn, Messy Church is on the second Sunday of the month. (11th September, 9th October and 13th November.)
